The regular language courses usually last one semester and are concluded with a module examination. 

• In most cases, this is a written exam (60-90 minutes).
• In some German courses, both a written and an oral part are part of the module examination.

Registration for the module examination takes place in the courses. If you wish to have the course credited to your studies as a compulsory or elective course, you must additionally register for the examination at the examination office of your faculty.
