On 9 March 2022, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in MV, together with the Wind Energy Cluster Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, organised an AI workshop for companies in the wind energy sector.
In the first part, AI experts showed various application examples for artificial intelligence in lectures. Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl (University of Rostock) presented the topic of "Predictive Maintenance". Matthias Cornelsen presented applications of the company Planet AI in the field of document analysis. Mathias Vahl from Fraunhofer IGD presented various possible applications of image analysis, e.g. for quality control in production.
In the second part of the event, the companies had the opportunity to reflect on possible applications of AI in their own context and to exchange ideas with the experts.
