The Berlin University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin - HTW) and the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (IEF) at the University of Rostock have concluded a cooperation agreement concerning the implementation of cooperative doctoral procedures. On the basis of this agreement, doctoral students from HTW in the field of business information systems can be enrolled at IEF and work on and defend their doctorates in a joint supervision process. Prof. Ute Dietrich (HTW) and Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl (IEF) are currently involved. Prof. Dietrich represents the teaching and research area of industrial engineering with a focus on computer science / system-driven engineering and automation of systems. Prof. Sandkuhl holds the Chair of Business Information Systems.
