On September 7 at 10 a.m., the next event of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in MV will take place with the support of DIZ Rostock.
This time it is about the use of AI in corporate health management as well as in social work and youth welfare. Guests will be Dimitri Kraft from the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD in Rostock as well as Christian Höntzsch from the Gesellschaft für Bildung, Erziehung und Gesundheit (GeBEG) and Dr. Birger Lantow from the Chair of Business Informatics at the University of Rostock.
Dmitri Kraft is developing the CareCam, which can record pulse, blinking behavior and body posture using a simple webcam. In the context of occupational health management, its use can contribute to early detection and prevention of stress in the workplace, for example. In addition, it can be helpful for knowledge workers, especially in times of mobile work, if someone, in this case the AI, pays attention to a healthy sitting posture.
Christian Höntzsch and Birger Lantow will tell us about their cooperation in the SensAssist projects. GeBEG and its partners are always interested in how technology can help them and the people they care for. In doing so, GeBEG is always bringing new issues and ideas to the team, for which the business informatics specialists at the University of Rostock research and develop solutions, including from the field of AI. For example, case reports from social workers are analyzed. Another field of application is the use of smartwatches or the tracking of computer applications in order to be able to recognize stress and develop suitable assistance strategies for people in the future.
