Achim Reiz, born in 1993, has been a research assistant at the Chair of Information Systems at the University of Rostock since 2019. The undergraduate program in Business Informatics with a specialization in Sales & Consulting took place at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in cooperation with IBM Germany. He has worked on various customer projects, in particular real-time analytics, digital transformation & mobile strategy consulting. After successfully completing his Bachelor of Science degree, Achim Reiz switched to the Double-Degree Program at the University of Rostock. After several studies and research trips to ITMO University St. Petersburg (Russia) he acquired the Russian and German M.Sc. in Business Informatics. Main topics were knowledge management, in particular the development of a tool for the automatic analysis and extraction of PowerPoint diagrams.

Current research focuses on the evaluation and quantification of ontologies, their maintenance and evolution.
