E-Publizieren

E-publishing

On Rostock University Library’s publication server "RosDok", we publish dissertations and habilitation theses, various other types of theses, publications with the participation of the University of Rostock, and Open Access works. All documents are permanently archived, receive a permanent address (DOI, PURL), are searchable worldwide, and can be cited.

Open Access and research data

Open Access enables free access to scientific information and research results. The University Library supports this in various ways: through suitable transformation agreements with publishers and various funding opportunities for Open Access journal articles or books. Contact us to learn more!

The Research Data Team offers advice on good data management for academic staff at the University of Rostock, supports the publication of research data on RosDok, organises workshops, and supports you in your research data management projects.

Digital humanities and digitisation

Rostock University Library has many years of experience in the implementation of digitisation projects of various types and sizes. On request, we can support your projects with advice and project preparation as well as the provision of infrastructure and expertise. The University Library also participates in various projects as a co-operating partner or co-applicant.

The Library catalogues and digitises prints, manuscripts and other materials from its collections and other partner institutions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As part of our digitisation service, we process digitisation orders (for a fee) and accept non-binding digitisation proposals.

Universitätsbibliographie

University Bibliography

The University Bibliography catalogue lists independent and non-independent scientific publications by members of the University of Rostock.

The aim is to provide a complete record of publications from the year of publication 2005 onwards. Publications up to and including the year of publication 2004 are included in the University Bibliography if they were reported by the authors or could be adopted from other bibliographic sources.
