For those not familiar with the slightly peculiar topography of Rostock: the institute is situated directly at the S-Bahn station "Rostock Parkstraße", between the main station and Warnemünde. This means that hotels between Rostock and Warnemünde are closer (in suitable metric) to the institute then hotels in the inner city, even if a look at a city map suggests otherwise. This includes the rather cheap places like the Dock Hostel Warnemünde or the Gästehaus Lütten Klein as well as fancy places in Warnemünde itself.
